New collection coming very soon!

My latest poetry collection has been published (last night!), so now I am just waiting for my own copy to arrive, so that I can check that.  If all is well, it can then be made "public", and will be available to purchase, along with my other poetry collections, "Inside My Mind" and "Spiritual Peace", both of which can be bought through the Lulu website.

The cover image for my latest book, "Dreams and Illusions", was a computer generated image, of my own creation.  In fact, the poem "Dreams and Illusions", from which the book's title was taken, was actually inspired by the image, to which I gave the title of "Dreams and Illusions" when posting on Tumblr and Flickr.

Another poetry collection!

I am making progress with my latest Lulu poetry collection.

Once this book is completed, I will probably concentrate on reading and writing more poems...

New collection

My latest poetry collection, "Spiritual Peace", is now available.  Copies can be purchased through Lulu, price £4.00, plus £2.99 postage and packing.  (Postage and packing is not "per book", so it works out cheaper to order more than one book at a time.)

"Inside My Mind", my other recent collection, is also available - again, at £4.00, plus postage and packing.

I now hope to work on my third Lulu (print) book.

Grammar crisis time!

Time for a last minute panic about the grammar in one of the poems in my forthcoming collection. It's the whole "who/whom" issue, that has me confused. I've checked the poem on two online software packages, and it "passes" on both - either way - the "who" or "whom" version. Not entirely helpful, then...??? I suspect that I need to alter it to "whom" but, if I'm wrong, a misplaced "whom" is much worse, somehow, than an incorrect "who". (Not sure how I work that one out, as surely accuracy is all-important, and no mistakes are really acceptable!)

Anyway, I've found a very useful grammar-related website, and the corresponding Facebook page, and asked for some advice. Oh, and apparently The Rolling Stones should have been singing: "Whom Do You Love?" So now you know! At least it's not just me, I guess.

"The spirits of those who/whom we've loved remain." (from "Spiritual Peace") And, incidentally, I don't care if it's a "complex sentence", which fact was pointed out by one of the grammar correction packages. It's a line from a sonnet, and I am so not rewriting the whole thing.

My latest poetry collection

I have provisionally finished the print book version of "Spiritual Peace". It is currently set to "private access", but has technically been published, and my own copy is in the post, so hopefully, the book will be available soon. The eBook version is "out there" already, price £1.50 - but this has a "standard cover". The print book cover features images by my husband, which I have selected and arranged on the page, using Lulu's software. I also used one of Colin's images for the cover of "Inside My Mind".

I might adjust the theme and direction of my proposed third Lulu poetry collection. Hopefully, I will be able to say more about this project soon.

My recent poetry can be read on my Tripod website or my poetry blog.

Poetry books

I shall hopefully soon be working on the cover for my forthcoming poetry collection, "Spiritual Peace". This collection contains poems written at various points during my personal spiritual and emotional journey. I have already made "Spiritual Peace" available in eBook format, and the eBook can be downloaded, through Lulu.com - price, £1.50.

A print book, "Inside My Mind", containing many of my poems written in 2012 (August or earlier), was published on 25/09/12, and is also available through Lulu.com. The current price is £4.00, plus £3.99 for postage and packing. There is not currently an eBook version of "Inside My Mind".

My third Lulu print book is in the very early stages, but will focus upon mental and emotional health related themes. Once "Spiritual Peace" is "out there" as a print book, I will be able to concentrate more upon this project.

I did also produce several other eBooks, partly in order to get used to how the Lulu software worked. These are all available to download, free of charge, through Lulu. Titles are: "Truth and Lies", "The Carousel of Dreams", "Colours of Pain", "So Quietly" and "Random Poems of a Crazy Insomniac".

New blog!

I created this blog for sharing my latest news, about my writing related projects.  I have various blogs already, but felt that I needed one specifically for this purpose.

The best place to read a selection of my poetry is my Tripod poetry website.  There are links on this site to many of my other sites/pages.
